The Guest Coordinator engages with guests and promotes Ulta Beauty services through one‑on‑one interactions, both over the phone and in person. They represent the Ulta brand, support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager in performance, people, and process initiatives, and drive sales, guest loyalty, and compliance.

• Contribute to store retail and service sales goals, guest loyalty (including credit), retail shrink, and omni‑channel sales.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting guests in Salon, Haircare, and Skincare areas and delivering prompt, courteous interactions.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courtesously.
• Support services by answering phone calls, resolving concerns, managing booking system and records, and suggesting add‑on services.
• Inform guests of current promotions and events, and confidently invite them to try services, boutiques, and salon offerings.
• Influence and support service providers on daily appointment pages, rebooking, and new guest acquisition.
• Book appointments and support execution of services and in‑store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed of industry trends, products, and services and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Create awareness of stylists’ goals through communication and collaboration.
• Develop guest relationships via in‑person and phone interactions and appropriate retail and service recommendations.
• Identify guest needs by observing consultations and ensuring each service guest receives a 360° experience.
• Collaborate with managers, associates, stylists, and skin therapists to grow the business and support a well‑rounded guest experience.
• Establish professional peer and brand partner relationships that foster collaborative service delivery.
• Share benefits of the loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings to enable continuous professional development.

• Be knowledgeable of and enforce Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty dress code.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures are followed before, during, and after services; keep state board guidelines.
• Use scheduling tools with the EM to recommend schedule adjustments that maximize results.
• Communicate supply needs to the EM to ensure guest‑readiness.
• Maintain outstanding store operational standards in salon, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, break area, and assigned spaces.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and offering exceptional service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma is preferred.

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

• Proficiency with basic technology (e.g., POS system, Apple devices, Services Booking System).
• Significant competency in sales, products, and service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, reaching, stooping, and twisting.
• Continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
• Frequent use of a computer, telephonic devices, and related office supplies.
