Aegis Aerospace is looking for a Senior Capture Manager - NASA/DoD / Intelligence, Space Programs to join our team in Houston, Texas. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development, we are seeking a proactive, proven business development professional who can lead capture efforts and secure new business wins across our Space & Defense Services, Commercial Space Services, and Space Hardware/Systems Development.
The successful candidate will have a track record of success leading and winning captures for complex U.S. government service and hardware opportunities for NASA and the DoD / Intelligence Space community. The ideal candidate will also be versed in the new Commercial Space Industry. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure and challenging deadlines.
As Senior Capture Manager, you will coordinate all phases of the company’s gated capture processes in response to U.S. DoD (primarily USAF and USSF) / Intelligence Communities, NASA and other Space/Defense market requests for proposals (RFPs). Working with the Proposal Manager, you will help produce business development artifacts and products such as White Papers, Technical Solutions, RFIs, Sources Sought, and federal/commercial proposal responses.
The ability to meet deadlines, excellent customer service skills, a commitment to teamwork, and relentless follow‑through will be the key to success in this role. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are absolutely necessary. You will also be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all aspects of the capture within NASA and DoD / Intelligence communities, including customer engagements, campaigns, and capture gate reviews;
building and maintaining a pipeline of potential new business opportunities to achieve Aegis Aerospace Growth Objectives identified in the company’s 5‑Year Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan; and leading business development capture activities to secure new or re‑compete contracts or task order business.

- Commercial Space background preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or technical (engineering/science) field with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in business development activities.
- Experience with and has established relationships in NASA and DoD markets (primarily USAF AFRL and USSF), and the Intelligence Communities.
- Experience managing and leading winning capture efforts for U.S. Government contracts valued over $50M.
- Strong leadership, organizational, reading, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Trained and competent in capture management, Shipley method preferred.
- Experience with collaboration and customer relationship software, such as SharePoint, Deltek’s Gov Win, and Salesforce CRM or similar.
- Advanced capabilities and experience & proficiency in MS Office Suite of products.
- Current Secret or Top‑Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Secret or Top‑Secret Clearance.
