The pay for this position starts at $20.50/hour, with additional compensation for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $23.87/hour.

This position is located in Webster, MA. The schedule for this position is Double Sunday (7am–11pm) and Wednesday‑Friday (3pm–11pm). $250 Bonus if MAP Certified.

Devereux’s Webster House program serves co‑ed youth, ages 4 to 14, on a rapid reintegration care program. With a 1:3 staff to student ratio, the main focus is to identify and treat safety/risk factors, barrier behaviors, and factors that precipitated placement; and to facilitate reintegration of the youth to the family or next appropriate placement in the shortest time period possible.

As a Direct Support/Care Professional, You Will

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same.
• Teach and assist with activities of daily living (ADL) living skills.
• Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Previous experience with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred.
• Must be able to attend a 2‑week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM‑4PM, in Rutland, MA.
• Must be MAPS certified or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
