The Food & Nutrition Room Service Attendant will be a competent, experienced professional responsible for obtaining food preferences and meal orders. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist and meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

• Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPAA guidelines.
• Adheres to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures.
• Maintains and adheres to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.
• Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.
• Participates in training with other members of the Food Service department staff to further develop/advance within the industry.

• High School Graduate / Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• Food Handlers or Serv Safe Certificate preferred (90‑day grace period after hire).
