Adjunct Instructor – Electrical (Wise County Campus)

This position is designated as a security sensitive position and requires a satisfactory criminal history background check. Males ages 18‑25 must be registered with the Selective Service System to be eligible for employment. Adjunct instructor teaching courses within Workforce Education programs. Pay rate is dependent upon education and experience.

• Associate degree and/or 2‑5 years work experience in the field of study;
  Bachelor’s degree and/or 6‑10 years work experience;
  Master’s degree and/or 11‑15 years;
  Doctorate and/or 16+ years (credentialed).
• Minimum five years experience in electrical field‑service, installation, repair and a Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
• Preferred:
  Completed a course in teaching adults or experience in teaching/training adults from diverse backgrounds; supervising electrical technicians.

• Teach courses in the assigned discipline.
• Maintain familiarity with and adherence to college policies and procedures.
• Maintain good rapport with students.
• Flexibility in schedule to teach day, evening, or weekend classes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to exercise professional and ethical standards in the use of college time and resources.
• Observe the stated policies and procedures of the College.
