Overview
Tri Bridge Residential is actively seeking to hire a Leasing Consultant for the Mountain Creek property, located in Waynesville, NC 28786. As a Leasing Consultant, you will use your sales and marketing skills to deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents of our multifamily community. You will maintain high occupancy levels by selling and demonstrating the value of our community to prospective residents, thereby finalizing the sales process.
Responsibilities- Leasing apartments: take telephone inquiries, greet prospects, show apartments, take applications and deposits, verify information, follow up with all prospects, and ensure leases are renewed on time.
- Uphold a professional yet friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where residents or prospective residents meet.
- Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call accordingly (prospect or resident).
- Greet prospective residents, qualify them, determine their needs and preferences, and professionally present the community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits.
- Inspect models and market-ready vacants daily to ensure cleanliness.
- Maintain awareness of market/industry conditions and trends. Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for marketing the community and improving resident satisfaction. Conduct monthly market surveys.
- Physically inspect the marketing path of the community daily.
- Inventory office supplies periodically and report needs to the Property Manager.
- Maintain and restock the café and coffee bar.
- Update social media sites to market the community. Assist in creating advertising campaigns and newsletters.
- Develop the online presence for the community by targeting new followers and creating engaging content.
- Post information and photos from special events on social media sites.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel), as well as property management software, preferably Yardi.
- Knowledgeable of all lease-related documents and able to accurately complete the documents promptly.
- Proficient sales skills; prior sales experience.
- Strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Yardi experience preferred.
- Minimum of 6–12 months of leasing experience in the multi-family industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Positive, motivating, and team-oriented attitude.
- Desire to exceed and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people, including co-workers, vendors, and customers.
- Work Schedule:
Saturdays are required and some evenings (hours may vary to meet the business needs of the community).
