Job Summary

Dr Pepper of Staunton is seeking a dependable and safety-focused

Class BCDLSwing Driverto support our beverage delivery operations. This position provides coverage for multiple delivery routes as needed, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to retail and customer locations while maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Cover assigned delivery routes as needed, including vacations and absences.
• Deliver, rotate, and merchandise beverage products at customer locations.
• Load and unload product using hand trucks and other equipment.
• Verify delivery accuracy, use of handheld computers, completion of required paperwork.
• Handling money and receiving payments.
• Build positive relationships with customers through professional service.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.
• Willing to travel to warehouse in Staunton, VA for start of day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid
  Class B CDL license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical certification.
• Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Flexible schedule with availability for early mornings, varying routes and holidays as required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, lifting, and climbing in and out of delivery vehicles .
• Work performed in varying weather conditions.
• Fast-paced, physically demanding role.

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Monday through Friday.
• Early morning start times; (e.g., 2-5 AM) to service stores before peak hours.
