$17.69 hour, 5.5-5.75 hours per day, 184 days
Multiple K-12 part-time positions available.
The WASD is seeking para educators and caregivers who have experience working with special needs individuals in a school setting or care facility. There are multiple K-12 learning support, autistic and emotional support vacancies available.
Special education para educators provide academic support and guidance, emotional support, behavior monitoring and may assist students with their personal care needs. All special education para educators work closely with teachers and other professional staff to support students' needs and goals to be successful in school. Transportation duties are required.
We are looking for reliable and devoted applicants. Only apply if you are a serious applicant who has a strong desire to work with autistic students and students who require emotional support. AED training, CPR, and First Aid preferred.
Background clearances are required for all positions. After 60 days of satisfactory performance, newly hired support staff will be reimbursed $200.00 to cover the cost of background checks, physical, and TB test.
