The Corporate Manager of Security leads the organization’s enterprise security strategy within the USA and Canada, focusing on threat prevention, risk management, and security awareness, across all operations. This role oversees physical security systems, facility protections, crisis response, regulatory compliance, and third‑party security vendors to ensure people, assets, and operations are protected.
Working closely with Operations, HSE, Legal, and regulatory agencies, the position drives proactive risk assessments, enforces security policies and procedures, and ensures readiness for emergencies and audits. Success is measured through incident reduction, compliance, training effectiveness, and completion of security initiatives.

Security Strategy & Leadership
Develop and lead the company’s corporate security program, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Develop a Superior personnel security program to ensure safe executive, operations, and visitor security protocols.
Conduct regular risk assessments and threat analyses across all company sites and operations.
Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Facility & Asset ProtectionOversee physical security systems (e.g., surveillance, access control, perimeter protection) at all propane facilities.
Serve as primary point of contact for all Superior corporate offices.
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure secure handling, storage, and transport of propane and related materials.
Crisis Management & Emergency ResponsePartner with OHS & Reg. Tech teams to manage crisis situations and incidents.
Serve as the primary liaison with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency management agencies.
Compliance & Regulatory OversightEnsure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including RCMP, DHS, EPA, and OSHA standards.
Maintain documentation and reporting for audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Evaluate and manage third‑party security vendors and contractors.
Ensure all external partners adhere to company security standards.
What you bring:- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Business, or any related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, risk management, law enforcement, or security operations.
- Security‑related certification e.g., such as CPP, which is preferred.
- Proven experience leading enterprise security programs across multiple sites or regions.
- Strong background in threat assessments, risk mitigation, and incident management.
- Hands‑on experience with physical security systems (surveillance, access control, perimeter protection).
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (DHS, OSHA, EPA, RCMP or similar governing bodies) preferred.
- Experience partnering with law enforcement and emergency response agencies.
