Security Officer - Villanova

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence hall exteriors, parking areas, athletic and common areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, medical calls, and notifications to campus partners and/or public responders as directed;
Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations; document observations and actions in required reports and logs;
Control access at designated points by verifying identification, issuing visitor directions, and helping to manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic during peak hours and special events
