Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills

3-5 years of hands-on technical experience with Service Now HRSD and Virtual Agent.

At least 2 full implementations of HRSD with direct experience configuring:

• HR Case Management
• Employee Center / EC Pro
• HR Integrations
• Agent Workspace
• Virtual Agent
• Lifecycle Events (Onboarding, Offboarding)

Experience building integrations with major HR systems, including:

• Workday
• SAP Success Factors
• Oracle HCM
• People Soft
• ADP

Deep technical experience with:

• Business Rules
• Data Dictionary
• UI Actions / UI Policies
• Client Scripts
• Validation Scripts
• Fix Scripts
• Scheduled Jobs
• Events & Notifications
• Email Scripts
• Reports, Dashboards, Performance Analytics Indicators
• Widgets

Strong experience with UI technologies:

• HTML
• CSS
• Java Script
• XML

Experience with integrations and data loads using:

• Import Sets
• Transform Maps
• SOAP & REST APIs

Knowledge of Now Assist, Generative AI, and Agentic AI within Service Now, including how agents function to build HRSD/Virtual Agent demos and solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Build technical solutions within Service Now HRSD and Virtual Agent.

Design and implement all core Service Now development components:

• Business Rules
• ACLs
• Data Dictionary
• UI Actions / UI Policies
• Client & Validation Scripts
• Fix Scripts
• Scheduled Jobs
• Events & Notifications
• Email Scripts
• Dashboards / Performance Analytics / Widgets

Build integrations between Service Now and HR systems including:

• Workday, SAP Success Factors, Oracle HCM, People Soft, ADP
• MS Teams
• Docu Sign
• Cornerstone

Build, test, and deploy solutions using:

• Glide Script
• HTML / CSS / JavaScript / XML

Build Service Catalog items, Orchestration, and Automation workflows using Flow Designer.

Design, configure, and develop Virtual Agent conversations using:

• Virtual Agent Designer
• Skills, decision trees, intents
• NLU capabilities

Use Virtual Agent and Now Assist capabilities to automate HR service delivery processes.

Build technical solutions leveraging Now Assist for HRSD and Virtual Agent.
