The Role at a Glance

This role leads the enterprise strategy, delivery, and ongoing product management of Lincoln's suite of AI productivity tools-such as Claude, OpenAI, and other emerging AI platforms-along with other reusable, cross enterprise AI services. As the owner of our "horizontal AI" layer, this leader ensures these tools are reliable, scalable, integrated into business workflows and continuously delivering measurable value across all business lines.

In addition to platform and product ownership, this role forms a deliberate partnership with HR to advance workforce enablement. The VP provides deep AI subject matter expertise, tooling strategy, and enablement resources that plug directly into the enterprise change construct. This is a highly influential role that blends AI product leadership, enterprise enablement, operational excellence, and transformational partnership to accelerate Lincoln's AI adoption and deliver enterprise wide productivity outcomes.

What you'll be doing

Enterprise Strategy & Leadership

* Serve as the enterprise thought leader for AI enablement, defining the vision, strategy, and multi year roadmap.

* Align cross functional execution to enterprise priorities and translate AI capabilities into clear, role based value propositions.

* Lead quarterly roadmap reviews and innovation planning with internal teams and strategic vendors.

AI Adoption, Enablement & Literacy

* Co lead AI literacy and enablement programs with HR, determining the objectives and key results to track and measure success e.g., using

certification rates, usage analytics, and competency assessments to measure impact.

* Drive cultural readiness, address behavioral barriers, and promote new, AI enabled ways of working across the enterprise.

Vendor & Technology Partnership

* Manage strategic AI vendor relationships and joint roadmaps to ensure performance and alignment to enterprise needs.

* Lead vendor evaluation, selection, and performance management for new AI capabilities.

* Partner with Procurement and Legal on negotiations, renewals, and cost optimization.

* Define capability requirements for AI platforms and partner with AI and Data Engineering and Infrastructure teams on implementation.

Data Alignment & Readiness

* Ensure AI initiatives have appropriate data access, quality, and readiness.

* Partner with Data, Privacy, and Security teams to ensure AI solutions adhere to data classification, retention, and privacy policies.

Measurement & Performance

* Establish and report KPIs and ROI tied to adoption, productivity, efficiency, and quality improvements.

* Deliver dashboards, scorecards, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Must Haves

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

* 12+ years of experience in technology, digital transformation, enterprise enablement, or similar leadership roles within regulated industries.

* 5+ years of experience driving enterprise level strategy and influencing senior leadership across complex, matrixed organizations.

Nice to Haves

* Experience deploying AI tools or driving AI enablement programs in large enterprises.

* Experience creating or scaling AI literacy programs or enterprise learning frameworks.

* Demonstrated success driving organizational change in complex, cross functional environments.

The pay range for this position is $157,000 - $285,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
