Business Intelligence; BI Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to support a well-established insurance and financial services organization. This role will focus on building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models that help teams turn data into clear, actionable insights. The BI Developer will work closely with both technical teams and business partners to deliver reliable, scalable reporting solutions. This role requires onsite availability in Wayne, PA.

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and SSRS reports aligned with business needs.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Support ETL/ELT workflows to ensure accurate, scalable data for reporting.
• Optimize dashboard and query performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver effective BI solutions.
• Contribute to BI documentation, standards, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in BI development or data analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau (Desktop and Server).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Talend, Matillion, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure).

• Pay Rate: $120,000 – $150,000 (annualized base salary)
