The Investor Services Analyst will manage investor transactions and fund operations for hedge fund clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role involves processing investor instructions, maintaining records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Investor Transaction Management
- Transcribe data from hedge fund application forms and investor dealing instructions into transfer agency systems.
- Preprocess client instructions, including completeness checks, balance verification, FX application, and signature validation.
- Process capital transactions from trade inception to contract note issuance, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
- Liaise with investors to clarify dealing requests and ensure all documentation meets company procedures.
- Maintain and update client accounts on systems under strict operating procedures.
- Process wire transfers via internal banking applications, coordinating with Fund Accounting and Banking divisions.
- Reconcile daily investor subscription and redemption transactions; resolve returned monies or discrepancies.
- Update and maintain wire templates and client referential payment details.
- Confirm proper execution of wires and provide daily workflow updates.
- Prepare investor and investment manager reports throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Respond to investor audit confirmations and prepare annual audit reports.
- Generate MIS/KPI data for management reporting as required.
- Perform AML procedures, obtain and review client identification documents for completeness.
- Ensure adherence to regulations such as ERISA, Blue Sky, FATCA, CRS, and other investor-related compliance requirements.
- Review work of team members as authorized by team leaders to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Ensure all team procedures and controls are consistently followed.
- Respond to standard investor queries efficiently and professionally via phone or email.
- Provide courteous, client-focused communication while maintaining confidentiality.
- Support any ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Prior investor servicing experience and knowledge of relevant regulations (ERISA, client eligibility, Blue Sky, FATCA, CRS).
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn new systems and industry concepts.
- Knowledge of hedge fund structures (legal, investment objectives, fee structures, liquidity provisions).
- Understanding of cash wire standards, templates, and reconciliation processes.
- Detail-oriented with ability to process high volumes accurately.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

- Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive attitude.
Pay Rate - $30-$59.00/hour
