Pre-K Special Support Paraprofessionals

A N T I C I P A T E D V A C A N C Y

6.5 hours/day, student days, plus additional days, as required

• High school diploma required
  ;2+ years college degree, desired
• Completion of 2+ years of postsecondary study (minimum of 48 credits); or, possess an associate degree or higher (in any subject), as evidenced by transcripts, preferred
• Highly Qualified training will be provided for applicants having less than 2 years college experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills
• Experience working with special needs students, desired

• Duties will require regular contact with bodily fluids &/or toileting
• Training and support in the areas of assistive technology, eating, communication, sensory integration, and academics
• Assist student with functional mobility
• Experience with academic and behavioral data collection

Hourly Rate: $23.49

• Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
