Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Lead to support enterprise‑level continuous‑improvement initiatives. This contract role requires someone who can drive structured process improvements, strengthen governance frameworks, and accelerate operational performance across teams — all in a fully remote capacity.
Responsibilities- Define, implement, and maintain an effective operational excellence and continuous‑improvement framework, including governance, standardized practices, and KPI structures
- Scope, structure, and lead improvement initiatives from ideation through implementation, ensuring measurable impact and alignment with organizational priorities
- Facilitate Lean methodologies, root‑cause analysis, and corrective‑action planning to drive sustainable improvements
- Deliver training, coaching, and mentoring on Lean/CI tools at all levels of the organization to build a common language and continuous‑improvement culture
- Establish and manage KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to enhance performance visibility and accountability
- Partner cross‑functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and operational leaders to align initiatives and support change‑management activities
- Build business cases for process automation, workflow enhancements, or additional operational investments as appropriate
- 5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, Lean/CI, or related leadership roles
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (certification preferred)
- Track record of leading cross‑functional transformation efforts with measurable results
- Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder‑engagement skills
- Experience establishing governance frameworks, KPI models, and structured performance‑management processes
- Ability to operate independently in a remote environment while driving accountability across teams
