Location: Onsite in Wayne, PA

Industry: Property Management / Real Estate

Pay: $110,000 - $125,000 / year

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for real estate/property entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio
• Assist with external audit, tax, and compliance requirements; coordinate with auditors and tax advisors as needed
• Review work prepared by Corporate and Property Accountants; provide guidance, training, and mentorship
• Utilize Yardi for property accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency, including interest in automation and system enhancements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accounting practices align with corporate standards and best practices
• Take a hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met, including flexibility to stay through completion of critical work

• 9–12 years of progressive accounting experience
• Minimum of 4 years of property or real estate accounting experience
• Corporate accounting experience strongly preferred (audit, tax, and consolidated reporting exposure)
• Experience overseeing or reviewing the work of other accountants (formal management not required)
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Yardi required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
