We are seeking an experienced Packaging Mechanic I to support the operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Assist with equipment changeovers
- Follow cGMP, safety, housekeeping, and environmental regulations
- Report mechanical breakdowns and safety hazards
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and job ownership
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of experience in packaging equipment maintenance or related machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and EHS regulations
- Ability to read diagrams, gauges, and technical documentation
- Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours
- Frequently lift/move items over 50 lbs
- Ability to wear PPE as required
- 1st Shift: $27.00/hr
- 2nd Shift: $29.50/hr
- 3rd Shift: $32.00/hr
