Brightview continues to grow in the NJ Market, along with our Talent! Due to recent promotions and the creation of a new Region, we are hiring a Regional Director of Operations.

Overview

Brightview Senior Living seeks a Regional Director of Operations to lead a regional portfolio of communities in the North New Jersey Region. The role covers communities in Paramus, Randolph, Tenafly, Warren and Wayne. Responsibilities include providing direction and oversight of overall operations, ensuring exceptional quality, outstanding service, resident satisfaction, associate engagement, operational efficiency and strong financial results.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will actively attract, motivate, retain and coach a group of high-performing Executive Directors and divisional leadership teams who collectively direct day-to-day operations for each community.

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans that optimize each community in the portfolio.
  • Oversee and develop community operating budgets and performance plans.
  • Monitor sales performance, implement effective operational systems and processes.
  • Maintain effective communication strategies within the region.
  • Champion the region and ensure the team embraces the vision, mission and vibrancy of the organization.
  • Create and maintain a vibrant and engaging living environment for Brightview residents and a great place to work for associates.
Salary Range

USD $ - USD $ /Yr.

The salary range above reflects potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives, nor the value of our benefit program. Offers consider experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications

With our residents in mind, the right candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, geriatrics, health care, hospitality or a related field and a minimum of eight years of progressive management experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience with multi-site management and senior living preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead people and achieve results through others.
  • Currently located within a commutable distance to the New Jersey Region, or willing to relocate.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from diverse sources and apply reason, logic and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to develop and execute complex, strategic business plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and make independent decisions as appropriate.
  • Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize, organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ability to master new software applications quickly.
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.
  • Compliance with state licensing requirements (where applicable).
