Overview

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of transactions including processing of commission reports, review of daily invoice runs, assisting with sales tax administration, and data entry. The position will support the corporate accounting team.

Responsibilities
  • Margin and Commissions Program
    • Process weekly Margin payments to affiliates both domestic and Canada
    • Run daily Order Collection Reports, quality review for accuracy of fees/charges and processing of report revisions
    • Build commission paylist and send to corporate accounting team for processing
    • Update internal and banking systems with strong attention to detail, as needed
    • Respond to questions from affiliates regarding the Margin and Commission process
  • Daily Invoice Processing
    • Run invoice generation program 3 times daily and quality review for accuracy of sales tax for Sales Affiliate invoices
    • Elevate issues & questions to Owner Success and Transactional teams as well as within the Corporate Accounting team
  • Support Services
    • Assist Tax Accountant with administrative tasks related to sales tax
    • Various accounting and administrative duties, as assigned
Qualifications Education/Experience
  • Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • One to three years of previous related accounting experience.

Working Conditions
