Job Summary:As a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you'll be an integral part of a team, collaborating closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Your role involves assessing patient needs, devising treatment plans, and ensuring exceptional care delivery to achieve positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Take comprehensive accountability for assigned patients' care journey.
- Efficiently manage patient care flow, from initial screening to discharge coordination.
- Maintain meticulous patient records, including accurate test and examination postings.
- Administer medications as per physician directives.
- Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans.
- Handle incoming calls and perform phone triage when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program; an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on nursing experience.
