Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule: M-F, some variation of 8a-6p, 30hrs/wk
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

We are hiring a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support a skilled nursing facility in Waycross, GA. This is a contract assignment offering full-time hours in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist patients with rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Provide rehabilitative exercises and interventions as directed by the PT
• Accurately document patient progress and response to treatment
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support overall patient care

Qualifications:

• Active PTA license in Georgia (required)
• Hands-on BLS certification (required)
• Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
