Credentialing required prior to start – minimum 135 days.

The Clinical Dietitian 1 provides nutrition therapy and education to patients, families, and the community. Performs nutritional assessments and develops care plans. Conducts educational programs and in‑service training.

• Perform nutritional assessments, analyze medical and nonmedical information, and formulate nutrition therapy.
• Provide individual and group nutrition counseling on an outpatient and inpatient basis.
• Document nutrition information in medical records and monitor patient progress.
• Develop and deliver educational programs for patients, staff, interns, and the community.
• Conduct research, secure grant funding, write publications, and present findings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and related meetings.
• Maintain current nutrition knowledge through literature, workshops, and professional organizations.
• Assist in developing protocols and quality assurance programs.
• Organize and execute health fairs and community events.

• Accountability for PHI.
• Resolve complex situations and patient concerns.
• Provide clear, concise education.
• Team player in a patient‑centered environment.
• Adapt communication to varied audiences.
• Empathetic, upbeat, articulate, and professional demeanor.
• Licensed Registered Dietitian preferred.
