Distribution Manager

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.

• Manage Daily Distribution Operations:
  Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of parts from distribution centers to customers, service centers, and dealers.
• Supervisor and mentor warehouse and logistics staff; develop work schedules, ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures, and promote a high performance culture.
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, procurement, production) and external logistics providers to ensure smooth and efficient distribution.
• Ensure accurate stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement systems to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and shrinkage.
• Inventory control – daily cycle counts, safety stock planning, and effective inventory turns.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the distribution process. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase speed, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with the customer service and parts sales teams to resolve order issues, delays, or product returns efficiently.
• Use an ERP system and other tools to manage operations and track KPIs related to fulfillment, inventory turnover, and delivery performance.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal regulations related to transportation, warehousing, and employee safety
