Maintenance Manager

American Pasteurization Company provides High Pressure Processing (HPP) services to the food and beverage industry on a pay-as-you-go basis. The company specializes in co-manufacturing premium food products, post-HPP packaging and assembly services, and direct-to-consumer refrigerated shipping. HPP technology effectively eliminates bacteria that cause spoilage and foodborne illnesses while extending shelf life. By using HPP instead of traditional heat pasteurization or chemical preservatives, the company ensures products are safe, long-lasting, and maintain their fresh quality and taste.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Manager located in Wauwatosa, WI. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and in optimal working condition. Daily tasks involve supervising the maintenance team, developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, managing repair activities, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational policies. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.

• Strong Supervisory Skills for managing and leading a maintenance team effectively
• Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair operations
• Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance procedures and Maintenance Management practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to technical challenges promptly
• Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance regulations in maintenance operations
• Experience in the food and beverage industry or working with HPP technology is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant qualifications preferred
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
