This isn’t any ordinary office; it’s the beginning of a bowled new career as a Senior Bowling Mechanic & Facility Manager with Lucky Strike Entertainment. These managers help keep centers operating efficiently. They manage a team of mechanics responsible for the operation of the center’s pinsetters, pin spotters, automatic scoring machines, lanes, and other equipment.
They’re involved with all center maintenance and repairs, providing leadership to their team and support to the General Manager (to whom they report).
- Keep the center’s day-to-day operations running smoothly from a technical perspective to ensure the center operates efficiently.
- Assemble an all-star team by assisting the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling B- and C-Mechanics who will be supervised daily.
- Train mechanics in Bowlero Corp’s machine area, safety procedures, and standards of operation for bowling equipment, building maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain operational compliance with applicable laws and policies (including OSHA); monitor machine stop records and maintenance needs; schedule routine maintenance of HVAC, roof, plumbing, electrical, life/safety, and other building systems.
- Assist in planning and budgeting for center repairs and upgrades; obtain bids for routine and emergency repairs/maintenance; suggest improvements to equipment to reduce environmental impact and cost.
- Remain flexible by being available to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays as needed by the center.
You are an experienced, technically proficient manager and a strong team player who can troubleshoot effectively. You’re comfortable supervising a team of mechanics and can clearly communicate department needs. You have an affinity for spotting and resolving center technical issues as soon as (or before) they arise, and you possess a strong desire to grow and develop the talent and skill of your technical staff.
