Position: Maintenance Technician Part time - Synergy at the Mayfair Collections

Overview

Part‑time Maintenance Technician - Synergy at the Mayfair Collections. Works under the Community Manager & Service Supervisor in a vibrant, upbeat environment. Provides general maintenance in common areas, addresses service requests in apartments, participates in preventive maintenance, and ensures resident satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; strong foundation in business principles.
  • HVAC/R certification preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions.
  • Proven leadership and customer‑service commitment.
  • Self‑motivated with ability to prioritize time and meet goals.
  • Resourceful problem‑solver adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in English; bilingual encouraged.
  • Skilled in tracking inventory of materials and parts.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle chemicals safely.
  • Available for emergency calls during nights and weekends.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet applications.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance duties in common areas.
  • Respond to "on‑call" service requests promptly.
  • Complete service requests in occupied apartments in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize resident satisfaction and support occupancy goals.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance programs and manage repair of mechanical systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness of grounds and common areas.
  • Assist with community inspections and quality assurance review.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and provide courteous service.
