ABA of Wisconsin's behavior analysts deliver clinical and consultative support at our treatment center and in a variety of community based settings, including in homes, schools and adult day programs. We design and implement support strategies that promote positive behavior change, with a focus on preventing problem behaviors before they occur. This is accomplished by modifying environments, teaching new skills, and improving quality of life through person-centered planning and support services.
Role DescriptionThe Behavioral Treatment Therapist (”BTT”) is primarily responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of all treatment and programming for clients receiving focused and/or comprehensive treatment as described by the fundamental responsibilities as listed below. The BTT also assists with conducting assessments, modifying treatment protocol, case management and other assigned duties under the supervision of the assigned BCBA. In support of ABA of Wisconsin’s mission and vision, the BTT works closely with the BCBA and other employees to provide the highest quality client services attainable by the organization using obtainable resources.

- 18 years of age.
- Ability to analyze and gather information skillfully.
- Ability to take positive and constructive feedback on performance of duties in a way that is productive for ABA of Wisconsin, the agency, and the client(s).
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability under challenging conditions (e.g., ability to manage physical aggression and other challenging behaviors demonstrated by clients).
- Well organized and meticulous. Ability to follow written protocol and accurately collect data.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills with employees, supervisors, clients, and other agencies to maintain effective working teams and relationships.
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making ability.
- Demonstrated user skills with MS Suite or Google Suite; ability to learn and master other software and user devices.
- Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week.
- Ability to travel within assigned Wisconsin regions to work with clients in center-based and community-based locations; must have reliable transportation.
- Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and proof of personal auto insurance meeting Wisconsin minimum requirements.
- Successful completion of all required background checks.
- Have a certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
OR - Have a master's degree from an institution found on the national accreditation database. Have, and attest to, a minimum of 400 hours of documented training and supervised experience delivering a Wisconsin-approved treatment model.
OR - Have a bachelor’s degree from an institution found on the national accreditation database. Have, and attest to, a minimum of 2,000 hours of documented training and supervised experience delivering a Wisconsin-approved treatment model.
