Engineering Design & Technologists
BIM Technology Management (BIMTM) has spent years building an all-star team of BIM (Building Information Modeling) professionals focused on real-world construction, coordination, and implementation within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry. Our mission is to improve project delivery through practical BIM workflows, constructable modeling, and continuous process improvement, while empowering contractors, engineers, and project teams to gain the advantage of coordinated 3D construction design.
We are currently seeking a hands‑on BIM Innovation Leader with extensive experience in organizational change, Revit template development, parametric family creation, and ideally Evolve experience within Electrical or MEP contractor environments.
Job SummaryIn this role, the BIM Innovation Leader serves as the head of the Enablement Department, a dedicated organizational lane focused on standards, continuous improvement, BIM excellence, and tool implementation across BIMTM. This position fills a critical structural ownership gap by providing clear accountability for Revit standards, templates, workflow consistency, and project setup frameworks as the company scales.
This role does not replace Operations or run project execution. Delivery teams will continue to own project execution, QA/QC for correctness, and client outcomes. The Enablement Leader’s primary focus is strengthening Delivery through standardization, governance, proactive planning frameworks, and system‑level improvements that drive consistency and scalability across all projects.
While the role is hands‑on and will engage with live projects when needed, the core responsibility is looking downstream—auditing trends, identifying recurring issues, improving setup strategy, increasing tool adoption (Evolve, Guardian, etc.), and preventing operational bottlenecks before they impact execution, onboarding, or deliverable consistency.
Responsibilities- Enablement Department Leadership:
Lead and establish the Enablement function as a dedicated organizational lane focused on standards, continuous improvement, BIM excellence, and workflow optimization. - Standards Governance Ownership:
Own the governance, evolution, and enforcement of Revit standards, templates, shared parameters, and modeling best practices across all projects. - Revit Templates and Setup Frameworks:
Oversee company‑wide Revit template strategy and project setup consistency to ensure scalable and repeatable execution. - Deliverable Standardization:
Define and maintain consistent deliverable standards and definitions across projects to eliminate ambiguity and uneven outputs. - Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Drive continuous improvement using project data, recurring issue analysis, and cross‑project trend reviews. - Tool Implementation and Optimization:
Lead adoption, implementation, and optimization of key tools such as Evolve and other emerging platforms to maximize ROI and team efficiency. - Workflow Standardization and Repeatability:
Develop repeatable workflows, guardrails, and internal frameworks that improve consistency across teams and disciplines. - Project Setup Strategy Support:
Partner with Operations during project kickoff and setup to align standards, templates, and execution frameworks that set Delivery up for success. - Downstream Risk Identification:
Audit workflows, setups, and historical project data to proactively identify systemic risks and prevent recurring coordination and execution issues. - Cross-Project Consistency:
Establish systems that ensure consistency in setup, execution approach, and standards adherence across all projects and teams. - Hands‑On Technical Leadership:
Engage directly in models, templates, and workflows when necessary to lead by example and drive practical adoption of standards. - Team Development and Future Enablement Specialists:
Mentor and guide future Enablement Specialists as the department grows, ensuring alignment with BIMTM standards and continuous improvement goals. - Cross-Department Alignment:
Work closely with Operations (Delivery) and Technology/IT to ensure tools, systems, and workflows are being used effectively and consistently.
