Job SummaryThe NPI Manager leads cross‑functional efforts to launch new products, managing the end‑to‑end process from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment, readiness, and execution excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Project Leadership – 40%
- Manage major transitional projects including CAPEX and product transitions.
- Lead cross‑functional teams through the product development lifecycle.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on‑time and on‑budget launches.
- Ensure quality of marketing executables and launch activation plans.
- Communicate project status to North America and Global Leadership.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage changes in scope, design, or timelines and communicate impacts.
- Conduct post‑launch evaluations for performance assessment and improvement.
- Process Management – 10%
- Own and optimize the NPI process, including stage‑gate reviews, documentation, and approvals.
- Build business cases and champion through stage‑gate process.
- Drive new product and service idea generation and selection.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Develop 3‑5 year innovation plans with leadership and category management.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination – 20%
- Act as central contact between departments to align specifications, packaging, pricing, go‑to‑market strategies.
- Facilitate communication and resolve roadblocks.
- Support market sizing and develop shopper/end‑user insights.
- Complete post‑launch assessment and next steps.
- Supplement Category Manager’s Voice of the Customer work.
- Link to the global team on product roadmap.
- Product Portfolio – 30%
- Maintain product development roadmap to drive market share growth.
- Drive product portfolio management processes.
- Coordinate product setup in ERP systems (SKUs, BOMs, pricing, supply chain).
- Ensure data accuracy and readiness for commercialization.
- Ensure SKU management and launches align with product lifecycle.
- 7+ years of experience in product development, commercialization, or project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Understanding of Stage Gate processes.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate autonomously.
- Experience owning cross‑functional projects.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly collaborative and teamwork sense.
- Ability to navigate a matrix organization.
- Can travel up to 20% of time.
Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements. Participates in HES activities such as Behavioral Base Safety, Safe Start, etc. Supports and promotes reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near‑miss, accident or injury incidents.
Physical Demands / Working ConditionsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
