United Mailing Services, Inc. has been in business since 1990 and began in the basement of the owner’s home. The company is privately owned, which does business with the United States Postal Service. UMS picks up corporate mail, co-mingles, and sorts mail by address to achieve discounts offered by the USPS.

We are seeking a driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will pick up mail from customers on a daily route in the central WI area that United Mailing Services - Wausau branch covers. This position would also have the opportunity to work inside the UMS building after the route, in a few different departments as needed each day.

As a driver, he/she is expected to:

• Complete assigned route in a reasonable timely manner
• Pick up mail from customers in a professional manner
• Be comfortable driving a UMS provided vehicle - cargo van or minivan
• Report all requests and concerns made by customers each day, if any
• When at the shop, driver should be loading/unloading UMS vehicles and delivering mail/product to designated departments.

Rate of Pay: $13-$15.00 per Hour

Position: Part Time available

Hours: Late morning/Early afternoon until Late afternoon/Early evening, Monday - Friday only

Job Qualifications for UMS Driver:

• Valid Wisconsin Drivers License with good Motor Vehicle Record
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift 10-15 lb. containers repetitively, up to 30-40 lbs occasionally
• Ability to drive safely and confidently in all weather conditions
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with management and customers
