Opportunity:

RN - Observation Unit

Job Details:

• Work 12‑hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• 13‑week assignment with every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2‑hour minimum callback pay
• Work in 8‑bed observation unit with 1:4 patient ratio and 2 RNs per shift
• Care for patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, CHF, dehydration, pre‑op, urology, and GI conditions
• Manage various drips including cardiac medications, insulin, and heparin
• Handle high volume of admissions and discharges with average stays up to 48 hours
• Must have 3 years of nursing experience and 1 travel assignment required
• Required certifications:
  Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Must take EKG exam during compliance process
• EPIC charting experience required
• Background in observation units or step‑down medical‑surgical/telemetry units preferred
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must live outside 50‑mile radius from facility
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
