Job Details:
• 13-week contract assignment
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum callback
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work with intermediate care patients including stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Manage insulin drips and heavy telemetry monitoring
• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
