The Plasma Center Nurse (Medical Support Specialist) supports plasma center operations under guidance from the Center Manager and Center Physician. Responsibilities include determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing and reviewing serological protein electrophoresis (SPE).
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions as outlined in SOPs.
• Consult with Center Physician or Medical Affairs on medical or technical issues and provide guidance concerning donor safety and eligibility.
• Support employee vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu).
• Handle employee incident management and coordinate with occupational health/ER and EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Licensed or certified in the state of assignment as Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Completion of FDA‑approved Bio Life Medical Support Specialist training.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

U.S. hourly wage range: $31.92 – $43.89, based on qualifications, experience, and location.
