Healthcare Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/10/2026)
• Shifts:
  
  12-hour variable shifts (Day/Night: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation:
  Every other weekend and holiday
• Unit: 40-bed inpatient Post Surgical Care Unit
• Patient Ratio:
  Day/PM: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-7
• Float:
  To all inpatient units as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license (required for Wisconsin healthcare jobs)
• BLS certification (must be attached upon submittal)
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum 2 years recent Medical/Surgical hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Epic EMR charting experience required

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the post-surgical recovery phase
• Manage patient assignments and prioritize care based on acuity in a busy clinical environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other inpatient units as needed and adapt to high-volume admissions (10-15 per day)
• Utilize Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps for clinical support
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working as part of a healthcare team
