Seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing job in Wausau, WI. • Position: Home Health Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Location: Wausau, WI 54401 (Central Wisconsin healthcare jobs)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: 8-hour days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, flexible)
• Weekend/Holiday: Every 5th weekend and holiday rotation
• On-call: None (except for low census situations)
• Travel Territory: 25-60 miles/day; average 20-25 patients, 4.5 visits/day
• Nearby Locations: May float to Medford, Antigo, WI Rapids
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,100–$2,250

• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Active Wisconsin or Compact State RN license (Registered Nurse license)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Valid Driver's License (required for home health travel nursing jobs)
• OASIS certification a plus
• Minimum 2 years of home health RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficient with OASIS charting;
  Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong time management, adaptability, and interpersonal skills

• Deliver comprehensive home health nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Complete OASIS admissions, episode management, and all required documentation
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members
• Document care and patient progress in EMR systems promptly
• Demonstrate clinical skills in wound care, IV therapy, ports, lab draws, and chronic disease management
• Float to nearby locations as needed (Medford, Antigo, WI Rapids)
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide compassionate, dependable care in all interactions
