RN - PCU

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) and 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips required
• Must have completed at least one travel assignment
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications:
  Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• Must pass EKG test within first week of hire
• Work in 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit with fast-paced, high patient turnover
• Care for post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, defibrillator, and ablation patients
• Handle acute chest pain/MI cases and medical/surgical overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, and respiratory failure
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
