This Maintenance Technician position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventive maintenance activities to optimize manufacturing capabilities.
Major Responsibilities- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repairs in a timely manner
- Support production by ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably
- Complete scheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with PM programs and work orders
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance
- Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve issues and support operational goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area
- Be able and willing to demonstrate excellent organizational skills
- Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met
- High school diploma or high school equivalent
- Relevant licenses and certificates may be required
- Courses in mechanical drawing, woodworking, electricity, and blueprint reading, recommended
- Maintenance experience recommended
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS and SAP systems
