Coater Assistant – 12 hour shift (Day/Night)

Synopsis:

Do you enjoy variety throughout your day? As an Operator Assistant in our Coater department, you will be part of a team that creates one‐of‐a‑kind label products for our customers. Each product is tailored to our customer’s needs, requiring specific material and machine specifications.

Don’t just start a new job—begin your new career! General work duties for the Coater Operator Assistant include working safely to support team‑operated coating machines. This includes picking and prepping raw materials, loading/unloading product on the machines, housekeeping, and assisting operators wherever necessary.

  • All hours worked on Sundays pay at time and a half.
  • $3.00/hour shift premium for all overnight hours worked (7 pm–7 am).
  • Scheduled no more than three days in a row with two or three days off in between.
  • Opportunity for voluntary overtime on days off.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Experience operating a powered industrial truck is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals and schedules.
  • Ability to calculate basic math figures, such as addition, subtraction, and division.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Average computer skills and ability to learn company‑specific systems.
  • Confidence and professionalism in representing the company.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to be a team player.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
