Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week

• Contract ends on Sunday, not Saturday

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour call back minimum

• Patient ratio of 4:1

• Work with stable, weaning vents/trach patients, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS

• Minimum 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory

• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred

• Ventilator/trach experience required

• At least 1 prior travel experience required

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Must be hard worker, resilient, and manage change well in fast-paced environment

• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

• Must wear mask during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
