Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units

• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back

• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location

• 2+ years of nursing experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory

• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred

• Ventilator/trach experience required

• At least 1 prior travel experience required

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS

• EPIC charting experience preferred

• Work on 36-bed medical surgical intermediate care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring

• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injuries, and stroke patients

• Handle primary patients and insulin drips with 4:1 patient ratio

• Must be hard-working, resilient, manage change well, and work independently in fast-paced environment

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
