Aspirus Healthin Wausau, WI is seeking an RN Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our Clinic Administration.
The Quality Improvement Coordinator understands and supports the quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management philosophy, policies, and priorities of Aspirus. The Quality Improvement Coordinator works collaboratively to design, facilitate, and evaluate quality improvement activities to support achievement of clinical quality and patient safety goals and priorities within their respective business unit(s). The Quality Improvement Coordinator works collaboratively with other team members to ensure the accuracy of data collection and reporting in support of internal and external quality reporting programs.
The Quality Improvement Coordinator supports proactive regulatory and accreditation readiness and survey coordination within their respective business unit(s).
Full-Time or .9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period. Day shift. Fully onsite with some travel to clinic locations.
Experience / Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required in nursing, health information management, healthcare administration, or care‑related field.
- Certification in healthcare quality or process improvement is beneficial.
- Minimum three years healthcare experience required. Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
- Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare operations.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and follow through on commitments. Ability to manage different perspectives and find win‑win solutions.
- Demonstrates ability to recognize workflow problems and redesign new process/workflow and create ownership from all stakeholders on change; and the ability to initiate and manage change.
- Collaborates with physicians, staff, and professionals and promotes diversity in the workplace.
