What does a Resident Assistant do?
The Resident Assistant (RA) performs assistive care duties under supervision to ensure the resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP) is followed. The RA encourages residents to maintain independence, assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and provides a home-like environment that promotes physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being. The RA works independently, using sound judgment in providing personal and medical care, activities, and housekeeping/laundry services as scheduled.
Shifts: 2nd shift, 2PM-10PM

Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age
- Effective verbal communication in English
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and spend long periods on feet
- Pass a background check
- Teamwork attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- CBRF Certifications or Active CNA License
- Experience in CBRF setting
- Experience with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other dementias
Physical Demands:
- Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Stand/walk for most of the shift
