As a Full Time, Medical Assistant in the Retina department at the EYE CLINIC OF WISCONSIN, you can expect a structured and engaging routine. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include preparing patients for examinations, assisting ophthalmologists during procedures, and conducting essential tests related to retinal health. You'll manage patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories and treatment plans while utilizing advanced technology.
Your schedule will generally run from Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturday half days, allowing for a balanced work‑life rhythm.
You will engage directly with patients, fostering a welcoming environment and addressing any questions they may have about their care. Conditions:
Eye Clinic of Wisconsin has eight locations; while staff will be assigned to a "home" location, travel to satellites is a requirement of the position. Hours of work will be dependent on the needs of the Clinic. Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting (30 pounds), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs is required.
