* Position Summary:

** Maintain gage calibration status of all mechanical gages.  And complete incoming inspection on selected raw materials from our suppliers.
** Responsibilities:
*** Gages:  + Ensure gauges on the Wausau campus are calibrated.  + Coordinating calibrations schedule and purchase orders with our 3rd party suppliers.  + Minor repairs to gauges.  + Potential to find suitable substitute for a measuring device.  + Order new or replacement gauges.
* Incoming Inspection  + Inspect incoming material from our suppliers as needed  + Inspections will include visual, dimensional and electrical testing.  + Update inspection information in Oracle and incoming inspection tracker.
** Required Education / Experience /

Skills:

*** Associate’s degree in mechanical field or relevant area of study and / or equivalent related experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to read micrometers and verniers.
* Working knowledge of MS Office including excel and outlook.
* Knowledge of ISO and audit systems required.
* Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and components is a plus.
* Experience in manufacturing setting required.
* Continuous Improvement mindset is a must
* We will train to measure with a mechanical roomer arm and laser measurements but experience in these measure devises is a plus.
