Faculty Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Overview

Applications must be submitted by 12:01 a.m., March 17, 2026. This is a full‑time faculty position supporting Northcentral Technical College's Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) and Phlebotomy programs.

Location:

Wausau, Wisconsin. The position is in‑person, located on campus. Working 40 weeks within a 52‑week academic year.

• Teach courses within the MLT and Phlebotomy programs; develop and maintain course materials such as outcome summaries, learning plans, Performance Assessment Tasks (PATs), syllabi, and online Learning Management System templates.
• Align instruction with program objectives and evaluation procedures.
• Use instructional strategies across modalities (in‑person, online, hybrid, out‑of‑classroom) and mentor students and peers.
• Adhere to NTC's academic calendar, student connect hours, teaching assignments, and office hours; conduct assigned classes per faculty contract.
• Assess and evaluate student performance by providing timely feedback and grades, maintaining accurate student records, attendance, and lab/clinical evaluations, in compliance with privacy laws such as FERPA.
• Participate in professional development and support College initiatives to enhance the learning experience and achieve program goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with students.
