Christ Community Youth (CC-Youth) is a thriving youth group of 25-30 students who meet weekly on Wednesday night, and other events and activities (swimming, sledding, BBQs, lock‑ins, Christian concerts, etc.) as well as youth camps and conventions.
CCC is looking for a passionately Christ‑centered, engaging person who can keep up with our youth’s energy, shepherd and disciple them. This role will provide spiritual guidance for their lives and leadership into authentic God‑encounters through youth services and other events. Equally important will be to establish and maintain great parent‑communication and keep the church at large informed about the youth group on a regular basis as well as overseeing, training and building up the adult volunteers serving in the youth ministry team.
The Youth Coordinator/Youth Pastor position is a staff position and answers directly to the Senior Pastor who oversees and guides all Ministries at CCC and will be a part of the staff office of CCC. Ministry budget/spending will be conferred with the Senior Pastor.
The town of Schofield is part of the larger Wausau area, a vibrant, growing hub in central Wisconsin, offering excellent education, shopping, entertainment and recreation.
