Detail Technician - FULL TIME-DETAIL SHOP

• Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior windows, and wipe down door jambs.
• Apply wax to the auto body and buff or wipe the surface.
• Vacuum interior to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, rugs and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather and treat fabrics with spot‑stain chemicals.
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam‑cleaning equipment and suitable agents.
• Use special‑purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that normal procedures do not remove, following product recommendations.
• Inspect vehicles for defects such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Restore appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces with touch‑up paint, dyes and other materials.
• Use protective equipment when handling chemicals or other hazardous materials.
• Fill vehicle with fuel and apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Replace missing or defective small parts and maintain showroom and stock vehicles in a clean, presentable condition.
• Ensure proper stickers are displayed on the vehicle’s windows and remove all window stickers on sold vehicles.
• Keep the work area neat and clean, operate all tools and equipment safely, and report any safety issues immediately to management.

Basic automotive knowledge is required. Past detailing experience and knowledge of the process is preferred. Experience using a buffer and carpet extractor is a plus. A valid driver’s license is required.

Full time, Monday‑Friday. May be asked or scheduled to work Saturdays.

• Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds.
• Reaching above and below shoulder level.
• Push materials/parts carts or push cars with assistance.
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to detail vehicles.
• Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment.
• Exposure to repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion.
• Inspection of vehicles outdoors in inclement weather.
• Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, and noise in the repair center.
