Imports Technician role at Kocourek Automotive

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $30.00/hr

• Kocourek Imports is looking to add a technician to their Imports team. As a technician, you will be responsible for quick but thorough basic preventative maintenance.
• Oil change services
• Additive services
• Fluid exchange services
• Engine/cabin air filter service
• Completing Vehicle Inspection process
• Alignments
• Tires
• Brakes
• Maintaining a clean and safe work place environment
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals as needed
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintain an organized and neat bay

• Previous automotive service technician – 2 years preferred
• Certifications a plus but not required
• A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
• Professional appearance
• Valid driver's license
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR and pre-employment drug test
