Kitchen Porter

$17.00 per hour

7:00 am – 3:30 pm, every other weekend.

The Kitchen Porter assists with day-to-day operations in the Food and Bathroom department and ensures a clean, sanitary environment. He/she performs various cleaning tasks and light maintenance duties using the necessary equipment and supplies, including cleaning kitchens and kitchen equipment, dining rooms, and all other food service-related areas, and may also wash dishes, stock shelves, and clean restrooms. Assists other Bethany personnel with tasks as necessary and performs all other assigned duties.

• Washing dishes, equipment, and utensils
• Sanitizing kitchen surfaces
• Inventory support
• Receiving deliveries

• High school diploma or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Ability to support residents with dignity, compassion, and respect
